2020-04-30 00:00:00: Memorial Day Regatta Canceled
After much thought, consideration, and consultation, the BYC has canceled the Memorial Day Regatta for 2020. We're sorry and disappointed that the regatta can't happen, but the safety and well-being of all participants, members, and staff is of the utmost importance in these days of COVID-19. As the current restrictions remain in effect through May 18 at a minimum, we also felt that many, if not most of the sailors would be prevented from preparing their boats in time for the May 23 race. Stay well, and we look forward to getting out on the water as soon as it is safe to do so.
