Welcome to the 2018 Flip Flop Regatta Information page.

The Flip Flop Regatta has been near and dear to the Courageous Sailing family since its founding in 2003, in memory of Ally Zapp. Through the Ally Foundation, the regatta supported their efforts to end sexual violence through science and innovation. Since 2015, the Flip Flop Regatta has been supporting Boston-area youth sailing programs. For the first time in 2018, Courageous Sailing will run the regatta and after-party, and all proceeds will go directly to support Courageous kids - providing more opportunities for kids from low income families to participate in Courageous’s summer programs.

Please note that this regatta will use OOR-ez handicap ratings for all boats.  Boats without an ORR-ez certificate, the race committee shall assign a rating based upon that of similar vessels and a recent PHRF certificate if available
