Boston Light Race Update #2

Good Morning BLR competitors,

We will be using the OrrEZ Four Winds Ratings for this race. We will be using the Light rating today.

SPIN class will sail Course 1 (14 miles).  JAM class will sail Course 2 (11 miles). Marks of the courses are listed in the SI's.

Warning signal is at 11:55 a.m. First boat starts at noon. RC will make any announcements on VHF 68.

Reminder - DO NOT CHECK IN. 

Post-race all are welcome at SHYC for cookout and music.

Boston Light Race Update #1

Good Evenng BLR competitors,

Thank you for entering the race. We have 50 boats signed up. Good weather is forecast for Saturday and both the JAM and SPIN season championships will be decided tomorrow.

Based on the current forecast the Light wind rating is currently selected. We will check the forecast again tomorrow morning and update if needed by 10 a.m.. If we change the wind rating tomorrow - your current posted start times will change. So, please check back.

DO NOT CHECK in via VHF with the Race Committee. Check in is not required.

If you need a mooring for the post race awards/party please call VHF 68 (Savin Hill Retriever) and provide the launch driver with your boat name, length and draft.
