Welcome to the 2021 SailMaine Festival and Regatta Information page.
The Inaugural SailMaine Regatta is a fundraisung event for SailMaine similar to MS Regattas of the past. We anticipate a Skippers Meeting Friday evening in Portland. A single multi-class race over multiple race courses starting near Fort Gorges in Portland Harbor, sailing around several islands in Casco Bay before finishing. Post-racing festivities are beng planned for Saturday. If interest is good, we are looking to provide multiple races for any One-design Fleets on Sunday. More information to come. NoR Update, August 5, 2021
An update to the NoR was posted August 5, 2021. There will not be One-design racing Sunday August 15 and these boats have the ability to race in Racing -2 Class or if they register five or more boats by 12:00 Thursday, August 12, a separate class start will be provided.
A listing of boats qualifying for a rating adjustment for exemplarary levels of contributions to the cause is included.
Onshore events will occur at Portland Yacht Services including Friday night's Skippers Meeting and participant reception starting at 5:30 as well as Saturday's post race gathering and awards.
